A Cause Close to My Heart: Red Shoe Day 2026
On May 20th, I’ll be participating in Red Shoe Day benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities San Diego, an incredible organization that helps families stay close to their hospitalized children during some of the hardest times of their lives.
Red Shoe Day is one of San Diego’s biggest community fundraisers, where volunteers take to intersections across the county collecting donations in the iconic big red shoes to support local families in need. It’s such a fun, high-energy event, but more importantly, it makes a real impact for families going through difficult times.
I’d love for you to be part of it, whether that means volunteering, donating, or simply helping spread the word. Every contribution helps provide comfort, housing, meals, and support for families with children receiving medical care.
